I recently had a chance to unwind at Enchanted Island, a hidden gem just a ferry ride from Mahé. The journey was a breeze, and once I arrived, the serene beauty of the resort took my breath away. It felt like entering a postcard, with stunning views of the Indian Ocean. The staff truly stood out, displaying kindness and attentiveness throughout my stay. I tried their signature cocktails by the infinity pool, where I could soak in the tranquility while watching the gentle waves. During my visit, I enjoyed some spa therapy that was restorative and refreshing. The wellness centre's massages made it easy to melt away stress. I also relished the chance to kayak to nearby Moyenne Island-an experience of its own. The villa was comfortable, with beach access that complimented lazy afternoons. While I experienced high tide limiting some beach visits, the overall ambiance remained relaxing. If you're seeking a tranquil escape filled with simple pleasures like snorkelling and the soothing sounds of the ocean, Enchanted Island may be worth considering for your next getaway.
